Just Bought used sauna guts (Cedar and Heater). I believe it is a HomeCraft Commercial Heater but would like you help Identifying it for sure.

Also do you know if it is a wet or dry sauna heater?

Hoping it isn’t Phase 3 as well.

Do you have a picture of the controls? No type sign or anything with some more specifications on one of the other sides?

There is a terribly stamped label on the back, I might try to do a rubbing on when I get a minute. Found it! Metos Sauna Model NO. MSPO.

The good news is it is a single-phase heater. It was connected to a double pole 40 amp breaker with the Ground and Positive lines pigtailed in the Electric Box.

      Here are some pics.

That being said I’m totally stoked about the Cedar I painstakingly removed. The Boards are 10 in. wide and the sauna was a perfect 8x8x8.

It is a 240V Metos Sauna (M75 I think). It still works surprisingly since the last Metos Sauna Heaters were made in 1983 aka 40+ years old. It does not have direct stone to Elements contact however which is a bummer.

Not really such a big surprise - my sauna has the original Helo heater from when the house was built in 1979. The timer recently started to get a bit opinionated - but other than that it’s working fine.
